Target audience
Our ideal target audience would be 15-30 year olds mainly men but would be open to both genders. We want it to be aimed at this specific audience as we believe that the genre of our film is most watched by men and we feel that it would not really appeal to a female audience or an audience over the age of 30 as usually heist films are seen as a fast paced action film. Our target audience my also like other films such as action, thrillers, crime, drama and comedy. We believe that our film has aspects of most of these genres which is why we believe that this audience will enjoy our film.

Films Similar to Ours
Snatch:
This film relates to ours as in the scene where Vinny and Sol attempt to rob a bookies, they completely mess up and it ends with one of them accidentally shooting the other in the leg, getting seen on CCTV, leaving money behind (only copper coins) and not intimidating or threatening the woman working there at all therefore making them look stupid. This corresponds with our film as the robbers in it also mess up resulting in a comedic failure.
Character Profiles
Jacob:
Age: 16
Occupation: Unemployed (career criminal)
A young, amateurish and inexperienced criminal, incapable of even the most simple robbery. He is constantly berated by Louie and Mitchell, two experienced thieves, as a result of his lack of success. Quite aggressive in order to compensate for his lacklustre capabilities as a larcenist, yet, this involuntarily ensures that he cannot maintain the respect of other offenders. Outside of his life of crime, he is rather normal; aspiring towards prosperity as most other lads of a similar age do. His appearance is generic, he wears clothing not for fashion but rather to disguise his face to remain inconspicuous.
Louie:
Age: 22
Occupation: Unemployed (career criminal)
Although young, Louie is experienced as a criminal, he has persued a life of crime from a young age and worked hard to gain experience in his field of expertise. He is articulate, and despite a lack of education he has proven to know exactly what he's talking about when it comes to robbery. He berates Jacob constantly along with his 'business partner' Mitchell as he believes that he is far superior to him.
Mitchell:
Age: 23
Occupation: Unemployed (career criminal)
The leader of his group of 'misfits'. Mitchell has been a criminal from an extremely young age, the son of a convicted bank robber, he has grown up around crime and this is reflected in his personality. He is careful and always prepared for whatever situation may arise. He looks down on failure, and thus looks down on Jacob. He could be seen as aggressive but he sees himself as a strong leader and sometimes a bit of force is needed to assert your authority.

Our film; 'Do Not Pass Go' would be given a 15 Certificate by the British Board of Film Classification. Dangerous behaviour will not feature heavily throughout the production and self- inflicted injury will not be shown at any point. Violence, although present within the movie, will not be prominent throughout and used mainly for comedic effect as opposed to the intentional infliction of pain to others.
