Who would be the audience for your media product?



Our intended target audience for our film is between the ages of 15-25 these could be people of both genders as we don't just want to aim it at a young male audience. However when we did our pre-production questionnaire one of the questions that we asked 'What is your gender?' and we found that it was nearly a 50-50 spilt with the women at 52% and the men 48% but out of the 25 people we questioned 2 people said they they would not watch our film and these we both of the female gender which may indicate to us that we should possibly aim our film just at a male audience. Also out of the 25 people that we surveyed we also found out the age of the people who took part in our survey and they we all between the ages of 16-18 which they all fit into our intended target audience and going along side the results of the question 'Would you watch our film?' with 92% saying yes shows that we are aiming it at the right target age group. We also asked 'What is your occupation' and 36% answered unemployed which shows that they type of people that may be interested in out film relate to the characters as they they too are unemployed and have to steal for a living.
